I purchased this book to add to my cocktail recipe book collection & was not disappointed. I love that the drinks are categorized by season & they really do utilize the appropriate flavors. For winter the Savory Avocado Cocktail is pretty much an amazing option for a margarita.I do agree w. some of the other reviewers however that the recipes are a bit flavored-vodka heavy & sometimes use slightly obscure flavors of it at that. These are sadly recipes I will probably never get around to taking the time to make (infusing vodka for a couple of martinis is a bit beyond my patience level - I need my booze now). It does have really great ideas for flavors though, and the cocktails look positively mouthwatering w. their fun colours & garnishes!

This is a great book for making drinks from fresh fruit and produce. The alcohol used is normally something easy to come by, like vodka. Some great ideas in here.

Imagine 4 seasons of really simple drinks to make, that sound wonderful, and you control the quality..I can't wait to get started. Great infusion recipes at the end, and if you use your imagination, you could come up with your own.
There are a lot of different drinks for all occasions and seasons in this book. Good run down on necessary ingredients and tools that the mixologists might need.
The book is organized by season, full of lovely illustrations, and the results are divine! Restaurant cocktails and ready mixes are too sweet for me. These are just right. I also loved finding more ways to use the herbs I am growing!
This one has more drink recipes than I will ever use. I reviewed all of the recipes when I downloaded the book, and there are a whole bunch I'll never use. If, however, I ever host a party and someone requests a drink, it's likely I'll find it here.
Nice history and detailed instructions. I like the made from scratch elements to prep for the final recipe. I will try the lemoncello soon.
